ITAS was set up in the early part of 2004 by Martin Hughes to help genuine trade professionals prove their ability to provide an excellent standard of work and service and to provide the public with a safe way to find tradesmen. Martin quickly realised that there are lots of trade organisations out there some good and some bad. Although we are one of the newest organisation's, we are also one of the most stringent when it comes to our members. As part of our service all ITAS approved tradesmen are covered by the "ITAS guarantee" which offers the public protection from cowboy tradesmen, and our tradesmen protection from cowboy customers (people who intentionally set out to rip off tradesmen) ....more
